Broadcast Premiere - March 1999
|This feature-length documentary encompasses a story of one of the “true great geniuses of guitar”, whose life ended abruptly and mysteriously in Los Angeles in 1984 at the age of 43. Breau was known early on when he had Chet Atkins as a mentor. Breau went on to fuse that country influence with jazz, classical and flamenco. But his promising career was cut short as Breau sank deeper into drug use, bringing an end to his music and his life. This documentary was filmed across North America for broadcast on BRAVO!, Vision TV and A-Channel in Canada, and is distributed worldwide by Chum City International.
