Gabrielle Roy - Film Still - Sylvie Malo as Gabrielle Roy with her students Gabrielle Roy, an internationally celebrated author, is paid tribute to in this feature-length documentary. Roy is considered to be one of the most important Fracophone writers in Canadian history. Her first novel, published in 1945, is regarded as the novel that helped spur Quebec’s quiet revolution. Gabrielle Roy  was released in both French and English on television networks including Bravo!, WTN, and Tele-Quebec.
