Set in Winnipeg in the height of the depression, this is a tale of lust, love, grief and loss. Musicians from all over the world pour into Winnipeg to vie for a $25,000 prize, given to the maker of the Saddest Music in the World. Based on an original screenplay by Kazuo Ishiguro. This film made its world premiere at Venice Film Festival and screened at Toronto International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival.
