Hailing from Hollywood, director Buck Calder tries to save his floundering career by helming a Canadian historical epic in Canada during the coldest winter in history. But when the IRS comes after him, Buck gets stuck up north and up the creek when he and his crew get inexorably caught up in each others’ lives while riding the razor’s edge between creativity and craziness.
