Producer, Kistikan Pictures

Tina partnered with Buffalo Gal Pictures in 2010 to create Kistikan Pictures to collaborate in development and production of Indigenous film and television. Tina made her entry as a producer on season 3 of Cashing In for APTN, a co-production of Kistikan Pictures and Animiki See Digital Productions. Currently, Tina is producing season 4 of Cashing In and a short doc on the prolific work of Metis artist Jaime Black and her REDress Project for MTS Winnipeg on Demand.

Prior to Kistikan Pictures, Tina was the proprietor of a communications company which specialized in communications and video production for First Nations and Aboriginal organizations, she was series lead in CBC's North of 60 from 1992-97, and served one term as a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons to 2008.

Tina has a BA Theatre from the University of Winnipeg and has trained at the Centre for Indigenous Theatre, the Banff Centre and the Sundance Institute.
