Joe Laurin

Production Executive

Joe Laurin is an integral member of the Manitoba film and television industry. He recently joined Buffalo Gal Pictures to serve as a Production Executive after spending more than ten years with the International Alliance of Theatre and Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 856.

As a Business Agent, he represented IATSE while serving on Film Training Manitoba's Board of Directors. Prior to moving to Manitoba in 1999, Joe worked for IATSE 669 in Vancouver where he started as an accountant, quickly working his way up to an administrative position.

With an extensive industry background and a strong work ethic, Joe’s skills will help further establish Buffalo Gal Pictures’ presence in the international production market place. His current list of projects includes the upcoming TV series Shadow Island Mysteries and the feature film Locked Down.

Joe studied Accounting and Business Administration at San Antonia College and Simon Fraser University.
